KUALA LUMPUR, 14 December 2025 – Gambit Group, a technology-driven consortium of wealth management companies, today reaffirmed its commitment to purposeful community engagement with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hiichiikok Foundation, alongside the launch of its Impact Partner Program.

The Impact Partner Program is a purpose-led initiative by Digital Trustees Berhad, part of the Gambit Group Consortium, designed to enable structured and sustainable giving. Through the program, Gambit clients may voluntarily support selected Impact Partners through one-off contributions or structured giving arrangements via their trust distributions.

As part of the event, Gambit Group also contributed a total of RM15,000, with RM5,000 each donated to three Impact Partners: the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM), Hiichiikok Foundation and WWF-Malaysia.

The MoU signing took place during “Movie Day with a Heart”, a private charity movie screening that brought together children, caregivers, partner organisations and clients. The event was organised to celebrate community partnerships, recognise the work of Impact Partners and foster meaningful engagement beyond traditional CSR activities.

“Through our Impact Partner Program, we aim to go beyond one-off donations and build meaningful, long-term relationships with organisations creating real impact in the community. By enabling structured and voluntary giving through trust arrangements, we simplify the process for our clients to support causes they care about in a sustainable manner, without added complexity. Today, we’re glad to be able to formalise and celebrate our collaboration with these three organisations, and we look forward to partnering with more trusted Impact Partners in the future,” said Datuk Clifford Hii, Group CEO of Gambit Group.

  • The Impact Program enables voluntary one-off or structured donations via existing trust arrangements.
  • The “Movie Day with a Heart” charity screening on Sunday is part of Gambit Group’s ongoing initiative and marked the signing of a new MOU with Hiichiikok Foundation to support underprivileged children and community programs.

Impact Partners and collaborations for community support

The MoU with Hiichiikok Foundation formalises a longer-term collaboration framework focused on supporting underprivileged children through ongoing engagement and future initiatives, beyond the immediate donation presented at the event.

“This MOU is more than a formal agreement, it’s a foundation for sustained collaboration. It ensures that our long-term plans, which are to expand educational support and strengthen our care programmes, have the backing of a trusted partner such as Gambit Group. This gives us stability and confidence to plan ahead with greater impact. This partnership also represents a shared commitment to giving children a brighter future. It shows that corporate partners like Gambit Group believe in our mission and are willing to walk alongside us to provide care, education and opportunities for the children under our wing,” said Frieda Ngui, Home Manager of Hiichiikok Foundation.

NASOM, which entered into a partnership with Gambit Group in September this year, continues to receive support through the Impact Partner framework to further its work in empowering children and individuals with autism.

“We are deeply grateful for this generous contribution from Gambit Group, which will directly strengthen the sustainability and quality of our programmes and services nationwide. The donation will support the operational needs of our centres, particularly in enhancing teaching and classroom materials, upgrading the centre facilities and implementing up-to-date programme improvements. Most importantly, it will enable us to further develop effective intervention and vocational programmes that empower children and adults with autism to reach their full potential and lead more independent, meaningful lives,“ commented Julian Wong Ming Vui, Chairman of NASOM.

WWF-Malaysia was also recognised as an Impact Partner for its ongoing efforts in environmental conservation. The donation supports WWF-Malaysia’s work across key focus areas, including forests, wildlife, freshwater, food, marine and the climate.

“This partnership with Gambit Group reminds us that legacy is about what we leave behind and what we choose to protect today. Together, we are showing that meaningful change for people and nature is possible when we act with heart,” said Alya Syahida Allias, Head of Philanthropy Partnership from WWF-Malaysia.

By combining direct contributions with structured partnerships, the Impact Partner Program reflects Gambit Group’s belief that meaningful impact is built through continuity, trust and shared purpose. The program also offers clients a transparent and flexible approach to integrating social impact into their wealth and legacy planning.
